Good Morning…

Or well, not so good for me. Rob is still in bed sleeping the Bank Holiday Monday away and I’m up and ready to go to work. Or ready as I can be, which is not very. Thank God I am getting dubble time today… Anyway, you are probably wondering where the pictures from Notting Hill Carnival went, and ehm, well boring as we are we didn’t go anywhere. We got ready for it and on our way out it started raining A LOT! It was proper chucking it down and we got wet in no time. The only funny thing about was to see all the kids from the SW4-festival running around in plastic bags trying not to get wet… So, we did our weekly grocery shopping and went home… :( Had a nice and cosy evening instead with some wine, some lovely food (“poussins agro dolce”, from the Jamie Oliver cookbook). Yum yum.

Anyway, I need to go now otherwise I will be late for work. Will try to update something when I get home tonight… Who knows maybe something crazy happens at work?! Have a nice day!

Good morning!

I woke up a while ago, watched the news with Robbo, and now we’re just sitting here browsing the internet. I’ve had the most amazing morning ever, thought I had died during the night and woken up in heaven, but no, it was real. And the best thing was that it will happen again ;) What it was? I won’t tell you! Hehehe.

Anyway, I will get ready to go to the Notting Hill Carnival now. Will take my camera with me and give you some lovely pics to look at! Ciao!

Nordic Bakery

As I said, me and Rob were going to the Nordic Bakery today for some cinnamon buns and coffee, traditional Swedish “fika” with other words. It were’nt the best cinnamon buns we’ve had from the place but they were definitely nice! Had some yummy coffee too. Unfortunately all the seats were taken so we had to sit outside, on the square (Golden Square) and eat the cinnamon buns and drink the coffee, which was alright as the weather was really nice and warm.

Outside the “Nordic Bakery” best cinnamon buns this side of Gothenburg ;)

The biggest cinnamon bun ever! (And it was mine, just mine!)

Rob’s bun and coffee

My beautiful and so good, Swedish coffee! Have got another Sweden-fix now and it’ll probably last for some time :)

Good Morning people!

What are ou up to today? I don’t know yet, probably just take it easy today. Me and Rob might go to the Notting Hill Carneval tomorrow and have a look at that. We have never been and have heard from some that it’s supposed to be really good, and from others that it’s not that good. We just have to make our own minds up, I suppose. It’s nice and sunny outside, and supposed to be so tomorrow too, so it can’t hurt getting out a bit at least :p

Rob is still in bed and I’ve already eaten breakfast, haha. I’m going to go to the stupid Delivery Office in a bit, as I didn’t have time for that yesterday. Then we might go to the “Nordic Bakery” and have a traditional Swdish “fika”. What do you think? I’ll keep you updated on that!

Oxford street…

Hi again!

I am now home from my little trip into town and have sorted out a few things. Went for the interview and it all seemed to go very well. The guy was impressed with my CV and said he was 90% confident that I will get one of the jobs that he has on offer. The jobs sounded really good as well, and would pay more than my current job, not to mention they will give me valuable experience for my future career moves.

After that I went to pick up a Pandora-charm that my mum ordered for me, as a graduation present. So now my Pandora-bracelet is complete, nothing else will fit on! I love it, then I went to Debenhams to have the people put in a new battery in my GUESS watch (I got it from my auntie for my birthday and only let proffessional people deal with it), but before I went there I ended up in British home stores, and bought some new towels and bathroom rug. So I’ve got a some errands sorted out. Now I just need to sort out this flat…

Shame you can’t see the text, but click on the picture and you’ll get a bigger version.

Pilates

I’ve done my pilates-DVD now and I could really feel it my tummy this time! Those abs are going to be defined very sone ;) It’s a shame that my pilates-DVD is in Swedish, and that it’s not for buy as I got it with a subscription to a Swedish exercise/sports magazine (iForm). Otherwise I would have recommended it to all of you! But I am sure that there are classes and exsercise-DVD that you can do and get results with!

My pilates-DVD that will get my abs firm and defined :p

Good Morning people!

How are you, slept well? I did, with the knowledge, in the back of my mind, of that I don’t need to go to work it went fine. Fell asleep while talking to Rob about weird things like bed sores, skin transplants, and chafing. Can’t believe we fell alseep to that without dreaming of it… We must be right freaks!

Anyway, I’m having my breakfast and am thinking of today. Have concluded that this is today’s to do-list;

  • Pilates + physio exercises
  • Tidy up the flat
  • Go and finally pick up a parcel at the local Delivery Office
  • Go into town for my interview
  • Take it easy at home

Breakfast while reading blogs, and the mess in the background that needs to be tidied up!

Good Morning!

Waking up to another day of glorious work. Or not… Ah well, it’s just today and then I have three days off! Can’t believe it, it’s almost like a mini holiday ;) Anyway, hopefully the events on Friday will change things and I’ll be more enthusiastic about working. I have my fingers crossed and will keep you updated on the situation. Now I need to hurry for work… Need to buy a coffee on the way as well, ran out of milk yesterday and forgot to buy some more on my way home from work… Silly me. Have a nice day people!
