It’s day two after my op. I’m feeling more confident, have done my exercises a few times this morning and was very proud over myself for getting my own breakfast while Rob was still asleep. Getting my breakfast from the kitchen to the table was however a bit of a challenge as I forgot that I don’t have any free hands or arms when I walk anymore. But I made it to the table. Thankfully I decided not to make myself a cup of tea and wait until Rob woke up. Carrying a cup of hot tea while trying to maneuver on crutches would have been a tad bit dangerous!
Today I’m mainly planning on looking at my thesis and how I can change it and make it into a journal article. Perhaps I will even start re-writing a few parts! But if I get bored of that I have a few magazines I can read, or read more on one of the books I started. I have other little projects I’m sure I can do as well, so boredom will probably not be my enemy.

Take care!
Thanks
Each day it gets better, little by little, slowly.
I hope so
And as long as I do what the physiotherapists and doctors tell me to do I think it will all turn out well
Thank you for the encouragement!
Hi! just wanted to say good luck to you! I am 2 weeks post op and it’s amazing how each day things get better.
I’m 2 weeks post op too, but don’t feel much has improved… Thanks anyway.
